About the Course

You work in a forestry business with low to medium risk assessment, and there's no requirement for a fully trained first aider. So you're probably wondering: what is EFAW-F for Forestry Level 3 (VTQ)? Well, this course is for you! You'll learn the basics of managing workplace emergencies, from communicating in an emergency to assessing the severity of an incident.


The information presented in this course is vital if your business requires EFAW-F but doesn't currently have any need for a fully trained first aid officer.


With EFAW-F Forestry Level 3, you can train your staff in the latest HSE and ERC guidelines. Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings are all included in the course to ensure that your employees are receiving the best possible training. All classes are delivered, evaluated, and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.


What are tourniquets?
