what does the course teach?

The First Aid for Cyclists Level 2 course teaches the following essential first-aid skills for cyclists:

- CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

- AED (automated external defibrillator) use

- Bleeding Control techniques, including pressure points, tourniquets and bandages - Heading the casualty to the hospital

- Treatment of injuries from falls and collisions



This course on First Aid for Cyclists Level 2 is designed for those who are members of a British Cycling Federation (BCF) approved club or amateur cycle racing organisation. This course is CE marked and meets the requirements of The Coronavirus Act. Do I need any specific skills or knowledge?
