About the Course

With Patient Transport EU Level 2, you'll learn how to assist people with a disability safely so that you can help them navigate the world around them in a way that's comfortable for them. You'll also learn how to handle behaviour that may cause conflict and medical conditions so that everyone can feel safe and respected. In Patient Transport EU Level 2, you'll learn:

-How to assist people with a disability in a safe and comfortable way

-How to handle challenging behaviour and medical conditions

-How to communicate with patients and their families

-How to ensure transport is comfortable for everyone

-How to keep patients safe during transport- How to comply with European Union law and rights and obligations.

This course is ideal if you want to work in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or nursing home. It's also perfect for anyone who wants to become more confident when working with people with disabilities to comply with transport regulations. This Patient Transport EU Level 2 course is available in English. This Patient Transport EU Level 2 course is designed for healthcare professionals with a patient transport driver role.

With this training, you'll become aware of all the rights and obligations of operating within the European Union. When you complete the course, we know you'll be ready to work on non-emergency patient transport in providing quality patient transport services across Europe.
