Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) Level 2 (VTQ)

Your Safeguarding course will enhance your understanding of your duty of care and duty of candour to respond proportionately to Abuse and Neglect of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA).
You will learn what abuse and neglect mean, how to promote and differentiate between the types of abuse and neglect. How vulnerability can put adults at risk in care. You will be able to handle disclosure, whistleblowing and follow appropriate reporting procedures. You will also look at the various legislation that underpin your knowledge.
